Fighting Champions III

During the climax of the second tournament, Ryuga once again reaches the final round of the tournament where he would face his brother Kabuto for the second time. The two fought a hard battle, exchanging blows one after another, and pulling off all of their absolute techniques. The battle ended with with both Ryuga and Kabuto within an inch of each other’s lives, with only one last finishing blow seperating them from victory. However, just as Ryuga was about to unleash the final blow, Kabuto, in a last-ditch effort, taps on the power of Yami, and in one fell swoop, proceeded to turn the tables and brutally beat down Ryuga, only stopping once his brother was unconscious, if not dead. Overwhelmed by Kabuto’s newfound power, Ryuga was forced to succumb to his injuries. Taking his loss against Kabuto in stride, Ryuga strived to train harder and harder in order to finally defeat the power of Yami without succumbing to the dark power himself. Around that time, a third World of Fighting tournament is announced, with a doubled prize pool from the previous tournament to attract more fighters from all around the world. However, to win the prize money is not Ryuga's goal. Instead, he joins the tournament in order to settle the score with his brother one last time.

In the previous year's World of Fighting tournament, Torao's defeat at the hands of Ryuga continued to add fuel to the fire that is his immense hatred of him and his family. Ryuga, however, is filled with strong feelings of disgust towards him, and thus, instead of finishing him off, he decided to simply walk away and forfeit the match, unable to bear witness to the man that his brother had become. Alonst a year after the last tournament, another World of Fighting tournament has been announced. Hosted by the Yakuza, and marking the return of Kabuto as the champion. This time around, the stakes have been raised with a grand prize of $1,000,000,000, luring in more and more fighters from all over the world with its promises of prestige. However, to Ryuga, none of it matters to him, as the only thing that's in his mind right now is to fight his estranged brother and take him down once and for all, so as to make him realize the error of his ways. Thus, Ryuga sets off to the tournament, with a burning heart and a mind full of determination.

The World of Fighting tournament. The biggest fighting tournament in the world. Every year, many fighters from all over the world, each with their own reasons for participating, gather around in order to prove who is the strongest fighter of them all. Hosted by the Yakuza, this year, the winner of the World of Fighting tournament will be given a sum of $1,000,000 as the main prize, provided that they are able to defeat the current champion, the fearsome masked fighter known as "Kabuto", first. This year, nine fighters will enter the World of Fighting tournament, each seeking to prove their own strength against one another and become the strongest fighter in the universe. However, the question remains: Who will come out victorious?
