Super Lyla: A Lyla in the Loop Movie centers around two second graders, Ale Alvarez and Everett Phan, who hypnotized their friend Lyla Loops (the main protagonist) into thinking she is a kind hearted, crime fighting superhero named, Super Lyla. So, with help from a reluctant trainer and the other young and old students, Lyla must assume the role of superhero and team up with the other to save Philadelphia. The only problem is -- they all hate her.

Subplots deal with the Cartoon All-Stars adjusting to their new lives, 12-year-old Cyrstal Fuentes trying to follow in Jonathan's footsteps, and Lyla, Stu, Luke, Liana, Louisa, Everett and Ale becoming superheroes known as the Super Loopsters.
