It is the year 21XX. While trying to find a fossil record, Dr. Cain, a human scientist, has uncovered a capsule with a robot from the past: X. The capsule contained a warning message from Dr. Light, his creator. X's design interested Cain, and he analyzed Dr. Light's notes. Months later, Cain was able to create robots similar to X, called Reploids, and they began to be mass-produced around the world. For unknown reasons, some Reploids began to act strange and attacked humans, being labeled Mavericks. To counter any possible threat, the Maverick Hunters were formed. Sigma, an advanced Reploid, was assigned to be their leader. X also became a member of the Maverick Hunters. Time passes and the Maverick Hunters are able to keep peace, but one day Sigma himself became a Maverick, being joined by other Maverick Hunters to start a war against humanity. Although X was by nature a pacifist, he had to do something, so he joined the new leader of the Maverick Hunters, Zero, to stop the ambitions of Sigma and the Mavericks.

They are approached by a young girl seeking a medicinal cure that can save the life of her mother, Rose. As Ryu and Ken attempts to make a trade with Kudo Corporations for the cure, they realize this has become something much bigger and seeks the help of former journalist Chun Li, who is now a secret member of Interpol. Together with their old ally, they begin a struggle with Kudo and his forces from resurrecting the ultimate evil as told by their master that would bring forth the end of the world.

Dragonball: Reborn

The sequel is set 5 years later after the events of "Dragonball: Evolution," the plot was based on a more-mature and deep-portayal take on the story that would've been: the Saiyan invasion that they forgot the other important factor to the beginning of the Z saga, which was the birth of Gohan.

When he rises from the grave and begins a quest for revenge, he conquers the Mushroom kingdom. In their desperation, Peach and Daisy sends the children into our world hoping to protect them from Koopa. Mario and his wife takes in Henry and John, while Luigi (unmarried) takes in Poppy. 10 years later, Luigi fakely dies from the search after realizing it was Bowser's trap. Mario, not knowing Luigi's demise, barely alive, leaves to search for Luigi and hunt down their assassins. His search left him blinded and lost in between the realm of both our world and the mushroom kingdom. Henry, John and Poppy becomes the eventual target. Their lives takes a turn when they realize their true bloodline and their inherent powers. Their mission becomes clear when the balance of both worlds is laid before them in a desperate struggle with Bowser and his minions. But soon realizes that his sons need their father's love and guidance in awakening their new powers. Mario joins the fight with his children for the worlds and Luigi's honor while trying to earn their forgiveness for abandoning them.
