Monsuno, released as Jūsen Battle Monsuno (Japanese: 獣旋バトルモンスーノ, Hepburn: Jūsen Batoru Monsūno, "Spin Beast Battle Monsuno") in Japan, is an animated series that premiered in the United States on February 23, 2012 on Nickelodeon's sister channel, Nicktoons[3][4] and began airing on TV Tokyo in Japan in October 2012,[5] with global launches staggered by country sometime between mid-2012 and early 2013 through Nickelodeon.[6] The series was created by Jeremy Padawer and Jared Wolfson. Poker Night at the Inventory is a crossover poker simulator that was made by a group of ex-employees of Telltale Games and published by Devolver Digital. the game is a sequel/reboot of the series, the game still takes place in a secret club called The Inventory, however now the club is a pocket dimension. Of course, Sir Reginald Van Winslow from the Monkey Island series returns from the two previous games as a co-host. However, we now get to meet the owner of the inventory, as well as a few long-time employees.

The motif of the series is retro video gaming, as the Riders of the show utilize game cartridges called Gamer Cartridges and have gear and form motifs inspired by retro video games. The series also integrates medical drama into the story because one of the main settings is a hospital and some of the main Riders are doctors. The tagline of the show is "Let the Game Start!".
