In the Island of Sodor, Thomas chuffed to the Clay Pits. Before Thomas chuffed through the storm, he could see footprints. Thomas chuffed at Brendan Docks, Cranky and Percy was there. But Percy remembered the footprints call a monster. When Percy chuffed around the fog, he saw an engine. Percy was panicked when he chuffed backwards to Brendan Docks. But that's not a monster, it's Gator.

Thomas discovers an old locomotive and tries to fix it before Sir Topham Hatt, the train station chief, finds out about it.

Old Reliable Edward

The bigger engines tease Edward for being old and unreliable, especially Gordon. But when Gordon sees red trousers (or pants) blowing by the tracks, he mistakes them for a red danger flag and stops, ending up on Gordon's Hill. Edward has to come and give him a push, but Gordon does not even say thank you, so Thomas and Edward decide to teach him a lesson.
