Super Star Destroyer,[2] abbreviated SSD,[3] was an umbrella term used by both the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic to refer to several classes[2] of massive Imperial vessels larger than Imperial Star Destroyers, the largest of which was the Executor-class Star Dreadnought.[4] the term "Super Star Destroyer" is a colloquialism used to refer to any ship larger than an Imperial Star Destroyer.
