Squiggly is the protagonist of the story, "The City Worm and the Country Worm". He is an orange male Australian inchworm who lives in a shoebox in Chipping Cheddar in London, England, with his Latin American mouseling roommate Marco Quesillo at his house in his bedroom on a beautiful summer day, because he is a city worm who shows Marco his diving trick by jumping off a diving platform and landing into a thimble filled with water.
