This is a Skywalker Sound sound effect, created by Randy Thom, and it was not only debuted in Howard the Duck (1986), but also used for a giant colo clawfish in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999). The first part was like a rare version of Hollywoodedge, Leopard Snarl Inhale AT012202, but only in higher volume.
