Poppy was a puppet cat, voiced and performed by Sue Monroe.
Originally appearing in the Tent Stop, she soon made guest appearances in other stops, including regularly in the Roundabout Stop.
In 1995, she got her own stop, the Poppy Stop, set in her home.
