American model, personal fitness trainer and backpacker. Born September 4, 1990. As a model, he's represented by DT Model Management, Good Talent Management, Elite Miami, Daman Istanbul. Currently based in Los Angeles. As a reward for a successful completion of a rigorous Master’s program in Kinesiology following a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Lucas Bloms took to the globe, with a backpacking route through Europe, Asia and Indonesia for four months, fueling a deeper appreciation for global travel. This prompted him to seek employment in Sydney, Australia, where he lived and worked for half a year, combining several passions simultaneously as he taught group fitness classes, coached personal training sessions and sought out modeling jobs. While this trifecta of activities now keeps Lucas occupied in his permanent home of Los Angeles, California he pursues continued application of his master’s degree and further education, publishing research in the fields of supplementation and sports performance. A two year college Biomechanics teaching contract allowed him to gain a deeper understanding of human anatomy and how to communicate knowledge effectively as a teacher. Lucas also spent time as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach as part of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, an experience which offered valuable insight into training thousands of different athletes including professional and collegiate learning to troubleshoot and help heal multiple different injuries. Recognizing that performance cannot excel without recovery, injury prevention and longevity, Lucas applies this knowledge tailoring in bespoke workout programs for the elite clientele who seek out his services. Now, Lucas’ private training business is centered around a demographic of Los Angeles based CEOs, high profile and private clientele requiring impactful workouts embedded in the midst of busy schedules. This includes everything from moving correctly, strengthening weak joints in a safe manner, reducing tensions and stress from problem areas, improving mobility and flexibility, all while keeping things a dynamic balance of fun, educational and challenging. Lucas also develops targeted regimes for actors and models training for roles which require a certain physique, and can be found energizing group sessions through workouts at Barry’s Bootcamp. Constantly evolving, Lucas is also currently immersed in exciting opportunities to expand the ways in which technology can allow us to lead healthier lives. This consists of two different startups in the digital fitness space, including an online workout library of his programs, as well as an app that bridges the gap between technical health science and daily habits, helping people improve health and wellness. As Lucas’ fitness background intersects with his modeling career, including features in Men’s Health, and campaigns for some of the most recognized fashion, swim and fitness brands globally, he has amassed an impressive social following.
