Laura Neal
Laura Neal is a writer.
Neal was named a Broadcast Hot Shot in 2012, and she began her writing career at just 18. While studying at the University of Bristol, she won the Hull Truck Prize in 2007. That year, she was selected for the Paines Plough Future Perfect scheme and the Royal Court Writers Programme. In 2008, her play Killing Jonathan was shortlisted for the Rod Hall and Theatre503 awards. She continued developing her voice throughout her studies, writing for acclaimed theatre companies, including the Old Vic, Paines Plough, and Clean Break.
