King K. Rool is a character from Donkey Kong Country, created by Rare. He is the main antagonist of the first 3 Donkey Kong Country games, Donkey Kong 64, DK: King of Swing and DK Jungle Climber. He is depicted as the unstable leader of the Kremlings, and due to this, has changed his persona several times, being a pirate, a mad scientist and a boxer. His goals are to steal Donkey Kong's bananas, or to blow up DK Island. Apparently, according to Gregg Mayles, his middle name stands for "Keith."
