Trained in classical, jazz and musical theatre vocals, as well as acting and dance. She joined a jazz band at the age of 13.
Dixon has participated in productions at Studio Theatre in Washington DC, Levine School of Music, Interlochen Center for the Arts and also made an appearance in a show on NBC. Studying ballet, modern and contemporary techniques, she has studied with American Dance Institute, Dance Theatre of Harlem and Maryland Youth Ballet, among others.
