Hamato Miwa (often referred to as Karai), is a major antagonist-turned-protagonist in the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series. She is the biological daughter of Master Splinter (Hamato Yoshi) and Tang Shen. Karai is the older adoptive sister of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. She previously served as a highly decorated, but yet rebellious member of the fearsome Foot Clan in addition to being a skilled kunoichi (female ninja).
