Juan (Japanese: アダン Adan) is the Gym Leader of Sootopolis City's Gym, known officially as the Sootopolis Gym. He left his Gym in the care of his former student, Wallace, but returned after Wallace replaced Steven and moved up to the position of Pokémon Champion. He gives the Rain Badge to Trainers who defeat him. He specializes in Water-type Pokémon. In addition to being a Gym Leader, Juan is an accomplished Coordinator in the anime.
