Born in Gary Indiana, Jennia studied filmmaking at Columbia University & Art at the Art Institute in Chicago. Out of over a thousand submissions, Jennia was one of only 15 selected to be part of the highly competitive Sony Director's Program, a year-long directing intensive which allowed her to apprentice under several esteemed directors including Randall Einhorn (while he was originating the 70's themed series The Kids Are Alright).
