Grandpa is Caillou and Rosie's grandfather, the husband of Grandma, the father of Boris, and the father-in-law of Doris. He first appears in Caillou Hates Vegetables.
He often tells Caillou stories about his Daddy when he was little like Caillou. In Caillou's Hiding Place, he shows Caillou a fort hidden in a tree in the backyard that Daddy used to play in. In the episode Surprise Party, Caillou along with Grandma and Rosie plan a surprise birthday party for Grandpa after finding out he didn't have a birthday party.
In Season 4, he and Grandma would babysit Caillou and Rosie instead of Julie. He is usually seen wearing a blue sweater with a red collar, gray pants, and red shoes.
