Personality… intelligent, brave, and independent. Gracie has always seen her independence and strength as mutually exclusive to femininity, so she initially looks down on her fellow pageant competitors and resists acting and dressing “lady-like.” As she gets to know them though, she discovers her fellow competitors are just bright, compassionate women looking to make a difference in the world. As she reluctantly admits after her time undercover is over, “I really do want world peace!”
