George Green was a Firefighter at Blackwall Fire Station from series 1 (1988) to series 14 (2002). He was the longest-serving character in London's Burning, featuring in all episodes of the show, apart from the pilot movie and two episodes of Series 13 and was the only character to appear in all fourteen series. At the show’s end, he was the only remaining character left from series 1.
