Fujin (風神) is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. The God of Wind and one of the Protectors of Earthrealm, he is the younger brother of Thunder God Raiden and one of the few playable Gods to appear in the series. He has been a supporting character throughout the series. Fujin made his debut in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero as an unnamed boss before making his playable debut in Mortal Kombat 4. Fujin would return as one of the many playable fighters in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Fujin returned in Mortal Kombat 11 as DLC as part of the Aftermath Story Mode expansion, marking his return to the franchise as a playable character for the first time in almost 14 years. He also serves as one of the protagonists of the Aftermath Story Mode expansion.
