“Eugongbusaurus” is an informally named dinosaur that lived in the Shishugou Formation of Xinjiang, China, dating back to the Oxfordian age of the Late Jurassic, about 160 to 155 million years ago. It was originally assigned to the tooth taxon Gongbusaurus, but “Eugongbusaurus” is known from more than just teeth, including part of the lower jaw, three vertebrae, and part of the forelimb, as well as a second specimen with more vertebrae and the hindlimbs. It was about 1.3 to 1.5 meters long, and since teeth are not distinctive enough to really assign other types of material to agenus, it has been separated out from Gongbusaurus, but hasn’t been formally described under this name yet.
