María Emilia Mernes Rueda, known as Emilia Mernes or simply Emilia, is an Argentine singer and songwriter. She began her career as the lead vocalist of the Uruguayan cumbia pop band Rombai, from which she resigned in April 2018.[3] In March 2019, she signed with Sony Music Latin and the management company WK Entertainment.
