El Indio (Spanish for "The Indian") is the main antagonist in the 1965 spaghetti western film For a Few Dollars More, the second in a trilogy of westerns directed by Sergio Leone that started with A Fistful of Dollars.
He was the psychopathic leader of a gang of wanted outlaws who had Douglas Mortimer and Manco join forces to both go after his bounty, and is the archenemy of Colonel Douglas Mortimer.
He was portrayed by the late Gian Maria Volonté, who previously played Ramon Rojo in the original film. As with Rojo, Indio's voice is dubbed by the late Bernard Grant in the English-language version.
