Colin Murray (born 10 March 1977) is a Northern Irish radio and television presenter best known for hosting Countdown and for his sports commentary work. He began his career as a journalist and founded the music magazine Blank before moving into broadcast media. His extensive career includes hosting on BBC Radio 1 and Match of the Day 2. Murray was the host of Fighting Talk, a topical sports show on BBC Radio 5 Live, for seven years. He became a popular substitute host on Countdown during the COVID-19 lockdowns and was made the permanent host in 2022.
