Myers was born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in Prescott Valley. Influenced by the arts from a young age, her grandfather, Bobby Hill, was a well-known painter who worked under the name White Buffalo and her grandmother was an acclaimed beader whose work has been displayed in the Smithsonian. Myers is also a writer, documentarian, and passionate about showing the next generation of Native kids that they too can get a foot into film and television; she teaches workshops on reservations and also created CRASH Cares to create care packages for the unhoused. She now lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their two pups.
