First appeared in Invaders #7 in 1976 and was created by Roy Thomas and Frank Robbins. John Falsworth was a British aristocrat and brother of the original Union Jack who became the vampire Baron Blood and sided with the Germans in both World War I, in which he fought Freedom's Five, and World War II, in which he fought the Invaders.
