Barney becomes smoother again and brighter. His jaw and his nuzzle are square-shaped as well as his teeth. His tail gets a little less curly, making it a little shorter. The bottom of Barney's stomach also gets triangular again. Apart from Imagination Island and Barney Live! in New York City, this was also used in photographed books, VHS covers, and Kids For Character.
