After a while there, she met Sherlock Holmes and started working with him on his cases. She calls Watson "Johnny", which he hates at first, but eventually warms up to the nickname. She stands out as the only woman that Sherlock has shown actual romantic interest in, which makes her happy as she has feelings for him as well. She becomes popular with many men due to her beauty, which can sometimes cause problems when the man is a villain, such as Moriarty. She sometimes finds herself needing rescuing.
