The League of Assassins, Pipeline and Venturia have plucked superpowered or otherwise gifted youths from several countries, the latest being Greece. Here, Diana's personal stake in seeking the League is revealed. Within the past year, Diana met a young girl named Cassandra Sandsmark. Born and raised in Greece, the girl is a metahuman with ancestry trailing back to the Olympian Gods. Heavily implying Cassandra's lineage is tied to Zeus himself. Diana has sworn to defend Cassandra and help her hone her power, invoking the ancient Amazon rite called the Hiketeia. A pact binding her do defend Cassandra to the death from all harm.
