From his hideout beneath a 19th century English opera house, the brooding Vampire schemes to get closer to vocalist Lucy Barnavelt. The Young Vampire, strong-arms management into giving the budding starlet key roles, but Lucy instead falls for arts benefactor Charles McAdams. Terrified at the notion of her absence, the Vampire enacts a plan to keep Lucy by his side, while Charles tries to foil the scheme.
