Hannah is a gentle and caring woman known as the sheriff's wife, she never liked that her husband will teach their children to shoot and use violence, but after John's death she knows that he had to do it for the good of his family When her daughter dies, she is devastated and very depressed, she tries to keep Joseph out of trouble and shows it when she says "Joseph, I don't want to lose you... I've already lost too many people, I don't want you to go too"
