Synopsis

Marvel's Mutants follows the young superheroes of the eponymous team (aka The X-Men) as they combat evil and other perils. Disbanded when the story begins, the series sees the team return when the original and new members reform the X-Men.

Description of Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler):

Kurt Wagner is the child of the mutant terrorist Mystique and the demonic-looking mutant Azazel, being abandoned by his mother right after his birth in the Bavarian Alps. He was found and raised by the Romani witch Margali Szardos and lived a happy childhood despite his devilish appearance. Kurt was ultimately saved by Professor Charles Xavier of the X-Men, who invited him to join the super-hero mutant group as Nightcrawler.
