The X-Men face off against Nathaniel Essex, aka Mister Sinister who was made by william Stryker, Born to destroy the x men. Mister sinister, a brilliant geneticist with a twisted obsession with mutant DNA. Mister Sinister's plan is to build a team together so he can go against the x men and create a clone army using kidnapped mutants with rare genetic traits. As the X-Men investigate the disappearances, they uncover Sinister's sinister agenda and confront him and his group The battle rages on, with the X-Men fighting to stop Sinister's plans and protect the future of mutantkind. mr sinisters group betrays him to work with the x men so they can take down mr sinister together.
