Born in poverty in Virginia, after fighting in the Korean War and learning karate Clarence Smith becomes a minister of the Nation of Islam and disciple of Malcolm X, then develops his own cult, according to which all black men are Gods and all black women represent the Earth. Initially met with disdain by black residents and white authorities, Smith, now named Allah, will be capable to create unity in a microcosm of hate and violence.
