As the daughter of Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons, Diana( will soon inherit the throne of Themyscira from her aging mother. However, on the day that she is to be crowned, Diana reacts with brutality when the amazons' enemies enter the palace in violation of their treaty. As punishment, Hippolyta banishes Wonder Woman to America. While Circe, Diana's sister, plots mischief in Themyscira, Diana now stripped of her powers, faces her greatest threat.
