Synopsis

After Logan finds out that S.H.I.E.L.D has been taken over by HYDRA, 10 years before the events of Captain America 2, he turns to heavy drinking ever after Nick Fury fires him, 21 years later Captain America, Bucky and Scarlet Witch go to investigate a new superhero team called Alpha Flight, meeting them at a press conference, however, Logan is also there recognising the teams mentor, he reluctantly teams up with Captain America and the others to figure out who Alpha Flight really are.

Description of John Sublime:

Co-founder of the Weapon X program and founder of Alpha Flight, he also creates the Mad Bomb a drug that makes people go into a berserker rage, like Wolverine and he's using the drug as a way to get Alpha Flight into the Avengers so he can have more access to more Mutants and resources so he can "speed up evolution and leave normal humans in the rear view mirror". He is a Celestial similar to Ego
