Description of Carl Peterson:

A middle-aged man with greasy hair and a beer belly. He's pushy and sleazy, always trying to make a quick buck, and isn't above cutting corners to save money. His tour group is his primary concern, and he's willing to put them in danger to save his own skin. He's the tour operator who brought the group of tourists to the town to see the Northern Lights. He's not well-liked by the locals, who view him as a nuisance, and the feeling is mutual. He sees them as uneducated rubes who don't appreciate the beauty of the Arctic wilderness. When the polar bear attacks, Carl's true character is revealed, and he finds himself in a fight for his life alongside the other survivors.
