Vietnam, 1970. A platoon of U.S. soldiers is dispatched deep into the uncharted jungles of Cambodia to investigate reports of mysterious disappearances and enemy activity in a remote village. Upon arrival, they find the village abandoned—save for a cryptic shrine and whispers of an ancient, vengeful witch known as Bà Mâu, a local legend said to command the jungle itself. As the soldiers try to uncover what happened, paranoia and supernatural occurrences begin to tear them apart. The jungle becomes a living nightmare, their comrades fall one by one to unseen forces, and the line between reality and hallucination blurs. The deeper they go, the closer they come to the terrifying truth: they are not hunting the Viet Cong—they are being hunted by something much older and far more dangerous.
