Synopsis

Weyr Search was originally published as a short story but it is also the first part of McCaffrey's science fiction novel Dragonflight. Weyr Search is about a young woman, Lessa, who seeks revenge on the lord who slaughtered her family and took control of her family's hold and a dragonrider, F'lar as her seeks for new weyrwoman and the future leader of a Weyr community on the planet Pern
