The main protagonist. Jack discovered his lycanthropy through transforming on a full moon on his 18th birthday. This adaptation of him is more apathetic and peaceful toward being a werewolf, and has ample control over his abilities, transforming when he feels fit. He still has trouble controlling his flesh hunger on full moon nights, but within the first hour of the movie builds a metal binding cage able to subdue him. This version of Jack in monster form looks more like a werewolf than the 70s and arguably old school look of him in the early comic book run.
