The youngest child of Leopold Bryson, a brilliant surgeon, and his spouse Eleanor, a legal expert, Crystal is a quiet and shy pupil with good results in class but labeled as a distant girl by her fellow pupils. Close to her older sister Bethany, she feels that she is being cast away since her sister is engaged to her boyfriend, Jeremy Quinton. And when she talks about it to her parents, they dismiss it as jealousy and tell her to grow up. Everything changes for Crystal after the abduction of her class. During their way back home, she shows a smiling side of her personality and improves her self-confidence.
