peterjudge04 Ending: Both gangs start to dig two different tunnels while Richard is in the isolation cell for insubordination. The two gangs meet and start bickering. At this moment, Richard tries to explain that now there are no differences between them, because they're all free and can escape. Both gangs call him a traitor and start to chase him. While escaping the angry mob, Richard gives a last, voice-over monologue to the audience, like many other he gave during the course of the movie.
