Remake
An activist and journalist is attacked by a serial killer in her home when she does a hit piece on a lawyer who defended the actions of an abusive husband rather than the woman who defended herself. She is nearly killed, but is taken to the hospital and saved, where she befriends a young nurse. When the killer learns of this, he travels to the hospital to finish the job, and leave a pile of bodies in his wake, if necessary.
