Daylight Saver was rescued by Day Hopper when villains attacked her village, and after that day, she became determined to become a monk like him—however, she's impetuous and more concerned with fighting than vows and studies. Because of this, he suggested that maybe her skill set would better befit a Skylander instead, and thus she became a cadet.
