The portal master avatar for the game. He's the future son of the Down to Earth portal master and an apprentice portal master in his own right, who wants to become as great a hero as his parent was. Though he often struggles with his studies, he's confident that he'll be a great hero someday—and when the fabric of spacetime unwinds and the Kouncil of Kaos comes to conquer the Multiverse, he immediately jumps at the chance to prove himself. Though his name can be chosen by the player, his default/"official" name is Aether.
