An adaptation of anti-slavery novel
Uncle Tom's Cabin is dominated by a unique theme: the evil and immorality of slavery. As Beecher Stowe handles other subtopics throughout the text, such as the moral authority of motherhood and the possibilities for repentance offered by Christianity, he emphasizes the connections between that and the horrors of slavery.
