Superboy, or Kon-El is the cocky "brat" that emerges after Superman's death to Doomsday to claim the mantle of being his successor - cocky and showboating with a youthful rebellious attitude, he is a far departure from Superman's more mature "boy-scout" image - and to make things even more interesting he's sponsored by Alexander "Lex" Luthor, who claims to have made him as a "clone" of Superman. After breaking free from Lex's custody and finding his family, he joins the Teen Titans as a founding member of Titans South, alongside best friend Beast Boy.
