For decades, the Japanese government has concealed the existence of the Kaiju, titanic creatures from another world. Shin Hayata, a young pilot with the secret organization USP, finds his life turned upside down when he comes into contact with a luminous entity of extraterrestrial origin: the Being of Light. Merging with it, Hayata becomes Ultraman, the last defense against a forgotten cosmic threat. As the Kaiju resurface, a buried conspiracy threatens to explode and Ultraman will have to choose between humanity and his own kind....
