Gwen Stacy is the daughter of widowed police captain George Stacy, a rebellious girl who dressed for attention and used her intellect and will to keep it. She went on to attend Peter's high school and was often loud, rebellious, and dressed in risque clothing. Gwen became friends with Peter after she defend him from one of his bullies using a knife. She eventually develops feelings for Peter despite he most of the time see her as a the sister he never had.
