Joe Wade is a overnight internet sensation who was the first person to gain spider powers before Peter Parker. After Spider-Man have died at the hands of the Green Goblin during his final battle to save New York City from the Sinister Six, Joe moved away from Portland and moved to New York as the Scarlet-Spider to help save the city from total chaos which led him to travel across the multiverse to recruit other spiders from other worlds.
